ELIXR is a not-for-profit with a single goal: building Canada into a global powerhouse for XR creation, development, and innovation.

XR is hard. Innovators and post secondaries face countless barriers to adopting this world-changing technology.

It's our mission to bring down those barriers.

Since our launch in 2019 we've focused on building infrastructure to simplify hiring, prototyping, grant funding, and hardware access for Canada's leading XR innovators.

We aim to build the systems that let other teams thrive.

Our Why, and Why it Matters

XR has the power to reshape how we interact with and learn about the world around us.

Whether it's in accelerating medical training, reducing training risk for our frontline emergency workers, or unlocking new teaching tools in higher education: we want Canadians to benefit from that power.

ELIXR wants to make Canada the worlds leading hub, and beneficiary, of the powers of XR technology.
